Nigel Haward

Nigel Haward wanted a new website and brand to market his beautiful watercolour paintings and giclée prints. The branding needed to reflect his love of the sea and the landscape of West Cornwall.

Painting and art is his passion. He paints ‘en plein air’ and uses photographic references in watercolour, acrylic and oil paint for his studio images. Favourite locations in West Cornwall include Newlyn, Penzance and St. Ives harbours, and the coast from St. Ives to Land’s End and up on the moor.

In addition to painting, he teaches watercolour and organises open exhibitions for local artists. He was an absolute joy to work with and super friendly. You can read more about him by clicking on his website link below.

Fiona Routledge. Approachable, friendly and professional.
Experienced with a wide and up to date knowledge of website building and website applications.
Empathetic when dealing with clients who may not be fully conversant with the technicalities of presentation and selling on the web.
When starting off, Fiona offered examples of how the website might look and let me choose the best fit for my ideas and needs. She worked with me at each developmental stage and listened to my ideas as the artist’s client. She was always available on email or phone to iron out any queries. In every case there was a quick turnaround so that I could get on with my input into the development of the content of the site. The site is constructed in such a way as to allow flexibility for further development as I produce more images.
In the context of the text, she was very particular about spelling and grammar and suggested how the images may work best on a laptop or mobile phone.
I couldn’t have found a better person to lead me from my idea of having a website through to the development and realisation of an excellent showcase from which to present my paintings to a wide audience.
