Philip Howson

It’s not every day I get a referral due to a feature on BBC Rick Stein’s Cornwall…

Philip Howson is a huge source of inspiration. He has produced and framed an amazing collection of Modernist Geometric Abstract paintings in a short time. I was taken aback when I met him and his impressive art collection in his home near Truro earlier this year. It is nothing short of awesome, and I am sure he will be successful.

He liked the Doherty Porcelain website and wanted a minimalist design similar to it to showcase his art.

The brief was to create a new brand and website for Philip. From beginning to end, it has been my pleasure working with Philip.

In the last 6 months leading up to May 2024, Philip and I have been working on the e-commerce side of his website. His online gallery is now live. His incredible work is now available to buy on his website: originals and beautifully reproduced giclée prints.

Look out for his new exhibition of original paintings in Truro in August 2024.

I was struggling to find someone to design my website with the necessary vision and flair to help springboard my art. I saw Jack Doherty, the potter, being interviewed on TV and Googled his site. I immediately knew whoever had designed Jack’s website, they were the person for me! I expect high standards and Fiona has not disappointed, nothing has been too much trouble and she has been a joy to work with. I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone looking for a web designer who is willing to work tirelessly to produce a very special shop window for your business.
